This summer, the Pride Center of Maryland is proud to support the dedicated Youth Workers and Volunteers serving at Camp St. Vincent. Through compassion, leadership, and commitment to youth development, they will help create a safe, affirming, educational, and fun environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

Many of the youth attending Camp St. Vincent face challenging circumstances and difficult life experiences. Youth Workers and Volunteers will provide essential support by offering mentorship, encouragement, and compassionate care that will help relieve some of the stress and hardship these young people experience. Their dedication will help create a sense of safety, belonging, and hope for campers throughout the summer.

In addition to providing emotional and social support, our Youth Workers and Volunteers will assist campers in strengthening important academic skills, including reading and mathematics. Through educational activities, tutoring, one-on-one support, and interactive learning experiences, they have helped youth continue developing essential skills while maintaining an engaging and supportive environment.

Equally important, our Youth Workers and Volunteers will ensure that camp remains a place of joy, creativity, and fun. Through games, arts and crafts, recreational activities, team-building exercises, and special events, they have created memorable experiences that allow youth to laugh, build friendships, discover new interests, and simply enjoy being children.

The Pride Center of Maryland recognizes and deeply appreciates the dedication, compassion, and hard work demonstrated by Youth Workers and Volunteers at Camp St. Vincent. Their commitment to supporting youth, celebrating identity, promoting education, and fostering community will make a lasting and meaningful impact on the lives of the young people they serve.

We are honored to support their efforts and grateful for their continued service in empowering, uplifting, and advocating for youth throughout the summer.
